I spent the day at Kingswood Farm in East Kingston today doing work for the United Way Day of Caring. My team and I were cleaning up and decorating the farm in preparation for an open house for the Wings & Hooves program this weekend. Wings & Hooves provides free riding lessons to children and adults with developmental disabilities. We were able to complete all of the tasks that they laid out for us and had a great time while doing it!
The farm itself is absolutely beautiful and I was fortunate to snap a few shots while I was there. I switched between my 18 – 200 mm lens and my 50 mm 1.8 prime lens. I stopped the 50 mm up to 1.8 and got some fantastic shots with limited depth of field. I felt particularly artsy tonight and decided to do some post-processing. I experimented a lot with black and white, vignettes, and film grain (thanks Lightroom). Take a peek and tell me what you think.
