This has been a long article in the making. It covers the first four Power Mac G4 models from 1999 through 2001. I rewrote it three times or so because the flow just wasn’t right and when I finally had something I liked, my server died. So I had to rewrite it a fourth time. But all of the rewriting helped me tell a better story. I’ve got two of these and they are really cool machines. The G4 was a big deal because it was the system that Apple was selling when the Mac lost the gigahertz wars. Check it out here!
